We are so excited for this new interactive parish challenge! For the next 6 weeks, beginning on Monday, February 22, we will post a question on Facebook for you to answer. Each of the questions relates to your faith and prayer experiences. There are no right or wrong answers! On Wednesday at 10am of the week the question is posted, we will be giving away a copy of Father James Martin's new book, "Learning to Pray: A Guide for Everyone" to a randomly-selected winner! Winners will be notified via our Facebook page.
Set your reminder! Our first question, which was submitted by Father Jack, will be posted Monday, Feb 22 @9am.

Learning to Pray is written for everyone from the doubtful skeptic to the devout believer. This new book will introduce you not only to a variety of methods of prayer in an accessible way but also talks about what people are most confused about when they start to pray: What's supposed to happen when I pray? In other words, what happens when I close my eyes? Fr. Martin also talks about the various challenges in prayer, like distractions and dryness.

"Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself."
